1. Who we are

Time Savers Limited (“Time Savers”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Guernsey with company number 78775. Our registered office is at Smugglers Cove, Rue de la Vallée, Torteval, Guernsey, GY8 0PW. We are registered with the Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA), registration number DPA11659.

This policy explains how we use personal data that we collect through this website and its enquiry form, and when you contact us or work with us. For that data we are the controller under the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017 (“the Law”).

We have not appointed a data protection officer. If you have a question about this policy or your data, email info@timesavers.gg or write to us at our registered office.

2. What we collect

Through our enquiry form: your name, your business name, your email address and your message. The form also records which service you asked about, if you came to it from one of our service buttons.

When you contact us in other ways: whatever you choose to send us by email, phone or LinkedIn.

When we work with you or your business: the contact details of the people we deal with, and the business information we need to deliver our work and invoice for it.

When you visit this website: this website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind, and our fonts are stored on our own site. Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

We do not ask for special category data, such as information about health, religion or ethnic origin. Please don’t include it in your message.

Giving us your details is voluntary. We need your name and email address to reply to an enquiry.

3. How we use it and why

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk about how we could help. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact us and to run our business. Where you are enquiring on your own behalf, it is also a step you have asked us to take before entering into a contract.
  • To deliver our services, manage our relationship with you and invoice for our work. This is necessary for our contract with you or your business, or is in our legitimate interests where the contract is with your employer.
  • To keep the accounting and business records the law requires. This is necessary to meet our legal obligations.
  • To keep this website secure and working. This is in our legitimate interests.

We do not sell personal data. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to. We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers, who handle personal data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc., which hosts this website on servers in London
  • Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), which delivers messages from our enquiry form to our inbox. Emails are sent from Ireland, and delivery logs are held in the United States.
  • Google, which provides our email and documents through Google Workspace

We may also share personal data with our professional advisers, insurers and bank where needed, and with regulators, courts or the police where the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the Bailiwick

Our providers may store or access personal data in the United Kingdom, the European Union or the United States. The UK and EU are authorised jurisdictions under the Law. Where personal data goes to the United States, we use providers certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the ODPA recognises, or rely on standard data protection clauses approved for the purpose.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work: 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Clients: for as long as we work together, then six years for our accounting and legal records.
  • Website logs: the short period set by our hosting provider, usually a matter of days.

7. Your rights

Under the Law you have the right to:

  • be told how your personal data is used (this policy)
  • get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data erased
  • restrict how we use your data
  • object to how we use your data, including at any time to direct marketing
  • receive your data in a portable format
  • not be subject to decisions made solely by automated means
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email info@timesavers.gg. We will respond within one month. If your request is complex we may need longer, and we will tell you if so. There is normally no charge.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ODPA:

The Law also gives you rights of appeal against the ODPA’s decision on your complaint.

9. If you use a system we run for one of our clients

If you use a tool we provide for one of our clients, for example as a member of their staff, we handle your data on that client’s behalf and under their instructions. The client is the controller, and their own privacy notice explains how your data is used. Please send any requests to them first. We will help them respond.

10. Other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn. They have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
