How it started

How it started, in Jack’s words.

  1. 2025 · San Francisco

    In 2025 I was travelling across the United States. In San Francisco, driverless Waymo cars were picking people up off the street like it was nothing. It was striking how far ahead some places were in comparison to Guernsey.

  2. Back in Guernsey

    Back in Guernsey, I’ve worked across financial services, recruitment and logistics. The island has a world-class reputation, especially in finance, but behind the scenes a lot of work still runs on re-typing, paper and processes nobody has questioned in years.

  3. July 2025

    The first Time Savers concept was a concierge service. Then in July 2025 I stayed with Tom, whose background is in building technology, and we got talking. A few months later I floated the idea to him properly, and Time Savers was born: Jack on the ground in Guernsey, Tom leading the build from London.

  4. Full circle

    Tom and I grew up living opposite each other, so the potential of working together was a real full circle moment for us, and we made it happen.

  5. The aim

    Our aim is simple: close the gap between Guernsey’s reputation and the way work actually gets done here. That means better days for businesses and the people in them.
